About the Event

 FREE EVENT- Shades of Motherhood Inc. (S.O.M. inc) is proud to present our yoga instructor Melissa Montez. Melissa is El Salvadorian, born and raised in Los Angeles, with a passion for Vinyasa Yoga. She will be leading a 40 minute Vinyasa yoga class. In Vinyasa yoga, students coordinate movements with breath to flow from one pose to the next. It’s really about linking postures together with ease, using breath. We will begin class by setting an intention, defined by some as a, “one-point resolve to focus both psychologically and philosophically on a specific goal. This can be a heartfelt desire or an intention to work towards. For many of us the mind jumps all over the place, consumed with distractions. Vinyasa yoga helps still the mind and body. This virtual class is great for beginners too. If interested please RSVP to Mitzy Pardo at  by May 14th and a link will be sent via email to join session 24 hours before start time.
