About the Event
As a way of giving thanks to the many unseen efforts of mothers with special needs children, we will be hosting a luncheon at a beautiful outdoor garden area of Malibu Wines & Beer Garen (https://www.malibuwines.com/malibu-wines-beer-garden/).
To RSVP for the FREE lunch, subscribe to our newsletter and take the gratitude challenge. The gratitude challenge is choosing to do one of 3 options and take a photo to share with SOM inc via email or post it on Instagram with the #SOMinc hashtag.
1. Take a picture of one thing, person, place or moment that made you smile in your day
2. Start a gratitude garden where you label people and/or things you are grateful for on rocks placed in your home indoors or outdoors
3. Write a thank you note to yourself for one of the many things you do out of love for others. It's important for you to acknowledge your own efforts regardless if it's what is expected of you. We acknowledge our faults but rarely recognize our own efforts.
